Jun 20, 2017 (newstodate): Four Arab states' air embargo against Qatar Airways from earlier this month has not bogged down Qatar's efforts to grow and develop.
Speaking to Al Jazeera the carrier's CEO, Akbar al Baker, has announced that the loss of flights to 18 Arab destinations has freed capacity to initiate, and in some cases boost, plans for opening of flights to a number of new destinations.
One example is the plan for launch of flights from Doha to Prague that was already aired, but not officially confirmed, in April 2017, scheduled for summer 2018 - but now to happen earlier.
Other new destinations to welcome Qatar Airways include Sarajevo, and Skopje that first considered for launch of services from Doha by the end of 2013 already.
