Jun 19, 2017 (newstodate): International provider of ground handling and aircraft fueling services, BGS has landed a fresh order with the LCC Norwegian.
Under the contract, BGS has extended the provision of fuel services for Norwegian aircraft at two Lithuanian and two Polish airports, adding one more Kaunas Airport in Lithuania to the deal.
The cooperation between Norwegian and BGS started in 2013 and the parties have now extended the fuel supply partnership at Krakow, Warsaw, Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga airports.
The 6th largest low-cost carrier in the world Norwegian will be supplied with almost 12,000 tonnes of aircraft fuel during the contract period. More than 80 percent of the total amount will be delivered to the airports in Poland, with the remaining volume to support the carriers operations in Lithuania.
The entire BGS-served airport network comprises Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Russia and the Czech Republic.
