Jun 02, 2017 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has today taken delivery of its fourth Bombardier CS300 aircraft.
airBaltic took over its first CS300 on November 28, 2016, the second aircraft was delivered on December 31, 2016, and the third aircraft landed at Riga Airport on April 3, 2017.
The carrier has placed orders for a total of 20 CS300 aircraft and in May it claimed to be planning to take in no less than five more CS300 aircraft in June, ending up with a fleet of eight aircraft in July 2017, already.
This is hardly to take place, though, and today's release on the latest delivery is back to the earlier, more cautious wording that envisages a total of eight CS300 aircraft in the fleet "by the end of 2017".
As of now, three more CS300 for airBaltic are reportedly on the assembly line in Canada.
