Jun 12, 2017 (newstodate): The Polish airline LOT has added another Boeing 787 aircraft to its fleet.
Arriving at Warsaw Airport during the weekend, LOT took delivery of its seventh Boeing 787-8 aircraft adding to its intercontinental traffic capacity.
One more Boeing 787-8 aircraft will be delivered this autumn, and LOT is thus operating the Dreamliner fleet on routes from Warsaw to New York JFK, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York Newark, Toronto, Beijing, Seoul and Tokyo, adding flights from Krakow to Chicago as well starting from August 2017.
In 2018, the carrier will also take in the first of three of the stretched Boeing 787-9 aircraft on a lease contract with the US company Aviation Capital Group, to be used on the important LOT routes to New York and Chicago.
