Jun 19, 2017 (newstodate): The Iranian carrier Qeshm Air is a newcomer to Russia's Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport in 2017.
Starting from June 16, 2017 and until September 22, 2017, the carrier will operate a program comprising up to six weekly rotations from Tehran Airport with Airbus A300-600 aircraft.
Russia and Iran have eased the mutual visa restrictions on their citizens, paving the way for a surge in Iranian tourist visits to Russia.
In the fleet of Qeshm Air are now 21 aircraft including five Airbus A300-600 and three Airbus A321 aircraft, but the carrier expects to take delivery of new Airbus A330 aircraft in 2017.
As earlier reported, flights from Tabriz to Stockholm, in Sweden, are also on the list of new Qeshm Air flights together with flights to Cologne, Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels.
