Jun 29, 2017 (newstodate): The German airline Germania has added flights from Dresden to Iceland, with the first flight on June 28, 2017.
The seasonal flights will continue till the end of this summer schedule, but the carier expects to return from Dresden to Iceland again in summer 2018.
As of now, the carrier is offering two weekly rotations on the route between Dresden and Keflavik with airbus A320 Family aircraft.
The privately-owned charter airline Germania first introduced flights to Iceland in sumer 2015, with flights between Bremen and Friedrichshafen in Germany and Keflavik, on Iceland, starting June 11, 2015.
