Jun 02, 2017 (newstodate): Denmark's Billund Airport reports a growth by 12.6 percent, y-o-y, in cargo volumes in May 2017.
A total of 6,095 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, comprising 2,164 tonnes of imports, up 15.5 percent, and 3,931 tonnes of exports that were also up by 11.1 percent, compared to last year.
During the first five months of this year, Billund Airport has thus seen cargo growth by 8.7 percent, y-o-y, to 28,090 tonnes including 9,921 tonnes of imports, up 7.9 percent, and 18,169 tonnes of exports, also up 9.1 percent.
