May 31, 2017 (newstodate): Ukraine International Airlines is expecting a boom in passenger sales as the country's citizens will be free to travel to a number of European countries without visa requirements.
With effect from June 11, 2017, the visa-free regime is enforced, allowing Ukrainian citizens to go visa-free to all Schengen countries, plus four EU countries that are not members of the Schengen including Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania and Croatia, and four non-EU states that are parties to the Schengen Agreement - Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
To celebrate the event, the carrier is putting a number of ultra-low tickets on a one-day sale.
