May 08, 2017 (newstodate): Flights to Sweden are on the wishing-list of the Iranian carrier Queshm Airlines in 2017.
After being approved by EASA in November 2016, the carrier has announced plans for launching flights to six European destinations including Stockholm as well as Cologne, Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels.
The carrier's first European flight from Tabriz will, however target Hamburg that will become a Queshm Air destination already from May 15, 2017.
The carrier has taken delivery of its fist new Airbus A319 aircraft that will be deployed on the new route to Hamburg, and two more deliveries are expected shortly allowing the carrier to pursue its expansion plan.
In the fleet of Queshm Airlines are now 19 aircraft including also two Airbus A320 aircraft.
