May 30, 2017 (newstodate): The Scandinavian carrier SAS is now recruiting cockpit crews for its coming new Irish subsidiary.
CAE Park Aviations is thus calling for candidates to fill the position of Captains and First Officers on the Airbus A320 aircraft to be based in Ireland.
Plans are for Scandinavian Airlines Ireland to launch flights by November 2018 between Spain, Britain and the SAS Group's northern European home market.
The coming new carrier will initially have a fleet of nine Airbus A320neo aircraft on Irish AOC and leased from an Irish firm.
With some 40 staff from the start, Scandinavian Airlines Ireland will provide flights on a wet-lease basis to SAS as well as offering capacity to charter operators.
