In a letter today to Copenhagen Airport's Chairman of the Board, the current majority stakeholder with 57.7 percent of the shares, Macquarie Airports announces that it has appointed advisors to assist in undertaking a strategic review of its investment in Copenhagen Airport which may, or may not, results in a divestment of its direct ownership interest.
Macquarie Airports acquired a major stake in Copenhagen Airports from the Danish state in 2005, and the state still holds 39.2 percent with the remaining stake in the hands of Danish and international institutional and private investors
