May 16, 2017 (newsodate): The Icelandic LCC WOW Air has announced the launch of flights on a new route to Israel.
Starting from September 12, 2017, the carrier will offer flights from its home base at Keflavik Airport to Tel Aviv with four weekly rotations on the route.
Details on the aircraft type have still not been released but most probably the carrier's Airbus A330 aircraft will be deployed on the route.
The new route is expected to attract also much traffic from the USA where the Tel Aviv-flights will be connected with the flights between Keflavik and Newark
