May 19, 2017 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic reportedly expects a stream of new CS300 deliveries over the next few weeks.
airBaltic took over its first CS300 on November 28, 2016, the second aircraft was delivered on December 31, 2016, and the third aircraft landed at Riga Airport on April 3, 2017.
According to Martin Sedlacki, airBaltic COO, speaking to Russian reporters in Moscow, airBaltic will take delivery of no less than five more CS300 aircraft over the coming weeks, ending up with a fleet of eight aircraft in July 2017, already - if the reporters got it right.
Earlier the carrier said that it would have eight CS300 aircrft in the fleet by the end of 2017 - which would then of course still be true..
So far, airBaltic has placed orders for a total of 20 Bombardier CS300 aircraft but more orders may follow.
