May 02, 2017 (newstodate): Without prior notice, the Danish logistics company Prime Cargo named a new CEO with effect from May 1, 2017.
Taking up the responsibility to head the large Danish company specializing in textile logistics is Jesper Bejstrup, replacing Morten Nielsen in the office.
Mr Bejstrup has served as CFO with Prime Cargo since January 2013 but draws on experience in the logistics business since 2001 including positions with the Maersk Group.
His predecessor Morten Nielsen has been in the logistics business since 1998 and served with Prime Cargo since 2006.
In May 2015, Prime Cargo A/S, Steamline A/S and Prime Cargo (HK) Ltd. were acquired by the Japanese Mitsui-Soko Group, one of the worlds leading logistic providers with headquarters in Tokyo.
