As one recent example, China Post is looking into various alternatives in Europe for destinations for postal freighter flights to lift off already later this summer.
Among the alternatives currently under evaluation are airports in Germany, France, the Netherlands and Germany, and sources claim that Post China will launch two weekly rotations from Shanghai to the selected destinations soon.
Flights will be performed with freighters from the joint venture between China Postal Airlines and China Southern.
In the fleet of China Postal Airlines are 25 freighters including three Boeing 757-200F aircraft, while China Southern Airlines has a fleet comprising two Boeing 747-400F and 12 Boeing 777F freighters.
