May 30, 2017 (newstodate): Finland's Helsinki Airport is still not seeing positive growth in cargo volumes in 2017.
In April, total cargo volumes dropped by a hefty 13.8 percent, compared to April last year, to 15,982 tonnes, bringing the total volumes during this year's first four months to 54,184 tonnes which is down 6.1 percent, y-o-y.
On the total volumes, international freight accounted for 50,085 tonnes, down 7.2 percent in January-April 2017, while international mail volumes were up 14.7 percent to 3,215 tonnes.
