Apr 26, 2017 (newstodate): Following a tender process, Singapore Airlines Cargo has now confirmed its choice of cargo handling provider at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The carrier has contracted World Flight Services as its cargo handler as it starts flights with Airbus A350-900 aircraft between Singapore and Stockholm from May 30, 2017, offering five weekly flights on the route between Singapore and Stockholm as an extension of the route between Singapore and Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
WFS will thus be handling Singapore Airlines Cargo both at Stockholm and Copenhagen.
Singapore Airlines was handled by the SAS Group's handling company from the very start of its operations at Copenhagen Airport but switched to WFS from February 1, 2009, under a contract comprising all Scandinavian stations as well as Finland.
