Apr 20, 2017 (newstodate): In March, Lithuania's Vilnius Airport saw its total cargo volumes up for the third consecutive month in 2017.
A total of 883 tonnes of cargo was handled, an increase by 17.6 percent, y-o-y, following on a growth by 0.6 percent to 696 tonnes in February and by 21.6 percent to 774 tonnes in January 2017.
During this year's Q1, the airport has thus seen cargo volumes up by 13.2 percent, y-o-y, to 2,353 tonnes.
In Q1, 2017, the total volumes comprised 1,957 tonnes of cargo, up 18.3 percent, while mail volumes at 396 tonnes were down 7.6 percent, y-o-y.
