Apr 27, 2017 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Astana International Airport is now amid a summer schedule marked by growth in traffic and the influx of new international carriers.
The summer schedule features 46 routes, seven of which are new to Astana International Airport that is also seeing five new airlines adding traffic.
One of the new scheduled airlines is Finnair, operating flights between Helsinki and Astana from June 20 to August 11, 2017, using airbus A319 aircraft.
LOT Polish Airline is another new partner of the Airport, starting flights from May 8, 2017, and connecting Astana with Warsaw by direct flights four times per week.
The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch new Astana Budapest route from June 8, 2017, offering twice-weekly services.
Another new airline is Air China, a member carrier of the worlds largest airline network Star Alliance, planning to launch services to Beijing from June 2017.
Finally, Ural Airlines has kicked off its four times per week operations from Astana to Zhukovsky international Airport starting from April 26, 2017.
