Mar 01, 2017 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines continues its strong expansion in the Russian market with the opening of yet another new destination in 2017.
Starting from April 11, 2017, the carrier will launch seasonal services from Istanbul to Samara, offering three weekly rotations with Boeing 737-900ER aircraft.
This news follows shortly after the announcement of flights from Istanbul to Voronezh to start from April 4, 2017.
With these new flights, Turkish Airlines will be offering services from Turkey to 10 destinations in Russia including existing flights to Moscow, St Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Stavropol, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, and Kazan.
Second among foreign airlines with Russian destinations on the route map is flydubai with flights from Dubai to seven cities in Russia: Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar.
