Mar 10, 2017 (newstodate): Norway's Oslo Airport is to get its first-ever direct connection to Romania from this summer.
With the first flight on the route from Bucharest to Oslo on June 15, 2017, the Romanian carrier Blue Air will offer three weekly rotation with Boeing 737 aircraft.
Based at Bucharest Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, Blue Air was set up in 2004 and now operates a fleet comprising 24 Boeing 737 aircraft of various types.
The carrier made its debut in Scandinavia on June 4, 2016 with three weekly flights to Stockholm, Sweden, and from June 2, 2017, Blue Air will start flights from Bucharest to Copenhagen, Denmark, with three weekly rotations using Boeing 737-400 aircraft, and competing with SAS that is also online on the route since April 1, 2008, with currently two weekly rotations.
