Mar 21, 2017 (newstodate): The Estonian capacity provider Regional Jet is advertising vacancies for an ATR-72-600 Chief Pilot to be based at Tallinn.
According to the advertisement, Regional Jet is in the process
of introducing ATR72-600 aircraft for a long-term ACMI operation with a major European airline.
The recruitment period expires already by the end of March 2017.
-No comment at this stage, remains the response from the company to the phone inquiry by newstodate.
Regional Jet is now 49 percent owned by the Polish carrier LOT, and has so far been provider of CRJ 700/900 aircraft capacity for the Estonian carrier Nordica.
newstodate expects to be able to bring further news on the ATR issue by early next week.
In the meantime, speculations are that the "major European Airline" might be SAS as replacement for Jet Time that has been providing the regional ATR flights - but this is not confirmed by any of the parties.
