Mar 08, 2017 (newstodate): The ever-expanding LCC Norwegian has announced the opening of new Transatlantic flights from Bergen, in Norway.
Starting from July 1, 2017, Norwegian will start flights from Bergen to Providence, near Boston, operating till October 24, and from July 2, 2017, flights from Bergen will commence to Stewart, near New York, with both routes to be operated twice weekly with Boeing 737MAX aircraft.
Norwegian launched once-weekly flights from Bergen to New York in May 2, 2014, with the larger Boeing 787 aircraft, but services on this route will be suspended from December 2017 and replaced with the new route served two times per week.
