Mar 08, 2017 (newstodate): The Estonian carrier Nordica is gaining momentum with air services from Tallinn Airport.
In February, the carrier accounted for 23 percent of all flight operations from Tallinn Airport, operating 738 regular flights in February, plus flights operated for partners outside of Estonia.
Nordica, in cooperation with its strategic partner LOT Polish Airlines, served approximately 32,000 passengers in February 2017 70 percent more than in the same period last year.
February 2017 also saw the formal conclusion of the sale of a 49 percent share in Nordicas subsidiary Regional Jet O� to LOT Polish Airlines.
Set up in the aftermath of the demise of Estonian Air, Nordic Aviation, later renamed Nordica, performed its first flight on November 8, 2015, with aircraft operated by Adria Airways in cooperation with BMI, Trade Air, NextJet and Carpatair.
