Mar 09, 2017 (newstodate): The Danish aircraft leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital has completed a second aircraft deal with the US company Air Lease Corporation.
This second deal comprises 20 Embraer E190 and five Embraer E175 aircraft placed on lease contracts with eight airlines globally, bringing NAC's fleet to a grand total of 394 aircraft.
NAC first completed a transaction with ALC in December 2015 comprising the acquisition of 25 ATR aircraft owned by ALC as the company decided to focus entirely on commercial jet aircraft.
In May 2016, Nordic Aviation Capital also acquired Jetscape Aviation Group allowing NAC to expand into the regional jet arena, bringing 28 Jetscape-owned Embraer E-Jets including 16 E190, nine E175, one E170 and two E195 aircraft, commitments for 11 E-Jets and a further 18 of the type under management.
