Mar 06, 2017 (newstodate): Croatia Airlines is preparing for a busy summer 2017 schedule with increased operations to Scandinavia.
Starting from May 1, 2017, the carrier will offer a program comprising six weekly rotations on the route from Zagreb to Copenhagen, from May 19 flights from Zagreb to Stockholm will follow with three weekly rotations, and from May 21, 2017, flights to Helsinki and Oslo will commence with respectively three and two weekly rotations.
Croatia will, however, not operate the routes with own aircraft, leasing instead Air Nostrum CRJ1000 aircraft to support its operation, replacing the previously scheduled service by Trade Air Fokker 100 aircraft.
The flights to Stockholm will spell a return of services as Croatia Airlines earlier provided two weekly flights from Zagreb until some 10 years ago, while flights on a route to Oslo would be a novelty for Croatia Airlines.
Croatia Airlines first launched Scandinavian flights in 2008, with flights to Copenhagen from May 27, 2008.
