Mar 03, 2017 (newstodate): Once again, Oslo Airport can welcome a new freighter operator.
Turkish Cargo is to launch flights to serve the Norwegian market with an Airbus A330-200F freighter, starting from March 10, 2017.
Oslo will initially be served with a weekly call on Fridays on a flight shared with Helsinki, Finland.
Already from May 22, 2016, a similar routing was tested with a series of eight flights as a diversion from the normal route Istanbul-Helsinki-Stockholm-Istanbul as the aircraft flew directly into Oslo from Istanbul, proceeding to Arlanda while cutting out the flight to Helsinki that is normally served with two weekly rotations.
According to the carrier's GSSA in Norway, NordicGSA, the routing of the coming new freighter service will be Istanbul-Helsinki-Oslo-Istanbul.
