Mar 21, 2017 (newstodate): Airfreight volumes at two of Sweden's three largest airports managed by Swedavia increased in the first two months of 2017.
At Stockholm Arlanda Airport, a total of 13,597 tonnes of cargo was handled during January-February against 10,563 tonnes in 2015 - an increase by no less than 28.7 percent, y-o-y.
Volumes were also up at Gothenburg Airport that handled a total of 2,128 tonnes of cargo during the period against 1,728 tonnes in 2015, also up 23 percent.
At Sweden's southern airport in the Oeresund Region, Malmo Airport saw a decline by 18.4 percent, y-o-y, to 4,009 tonnes.
