Feb 06, 2017 (newstodate): Work is progressing on formation a new Danish airline, Arctic Airways.
So far with offices set up in Randers, Jutland, and managed by Gert Brask, Arctic Airways is yet to finalize its application for an own AOC, planned for filing with the Danish CAA, Trafikstyrelsen, later this spring.
-Work is currently focused on issues including a booking and reservation system, a web page, sourcing and contracting aircraft capacity, and finalization of the financing, says Gert Brask.
-At this stage we can only say that plans include flights with Airbus A320 Family aircraft between destinations in northern Europe and northern Canada via Kangerlussuaq, in Greenland, says Mr Brask who aims at start of services before the end of this year.
