Feb 06, 2017 (newstodate): The Ukrainian charter carrier Bravo Airways is mulling plans to expand its fleet with Airbus A340 aircraft that are otherwise in the process of being phased out by many airlines.
In the fleet of Bravo Airways are now four aircraft including one Boeing 737-500 and three MD-83 aircraft operating flights for tour operators including TPG.
The carrier expects to complete the certification of the Airbus A340 aircraft on Ukrainian registration within the coming three or four months, allowing the carrier to plan for start of A340 services from September 2017.
At least the sourcing of Airbus A340 aircraft would hardly be a problem as carrier including Lufthansa, Finnair and many others are withdrawing their aircraft from commercial service.
