Feb 22, 2017 (newstodate): Still not officially announced by Ukraine International Airlines, the carrier is claimed to have ordered four Boeing 777-200ER long-haul aircraft.
The information is carried by the airline's Wikipedia page where deliveries of the new aircraft are slated for Q1, 2018.
Sources claim that the four aircraft will be ex-Singapore Airlines aircraft to be replaced by Airbus A350.
In the fleet now providing UIA with long-haul capacity are four Boeing 767-300ER aircraft that was taken over from Aerosvit, including the first Boeing 767 delivered in 2002 and earlier operated by SAS as was also the second, delivered in January 2004.
