Feb 15, 2017 (newstodate): Moscow will get a direct nonstop air link to Indonesia from this autumn.
An MoU was signed at a high-level meeting on Jakarta on February 14, 2017, aiming at setting up the new route from August 2017.
According to the MoU, Garuda Indonesia will introduce three weekly rotations on the route to be served with Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The new route to Moscow will be part of new strategy by Garuda Indonesia to increase its international route network including also new a route from Jakarta to Los Angeles via Tokyo also from autumn 2017.
