Feb 23, 2017 (newstodate): In 2017, Finnair's fleet of Airbus A350 aircraft will grow to 11 aircraft, from today's seven aircraft.
Finnair's aircraft #8 is now on the flight-line in Toulouse awaiting its first flight before delivery planned for March 2017.
Finnair A350 #9 is being re-worked for changed configuration with fewer business class and more economy class seats and aircraft #10 is now ready to undergo outdoor ground tests, while the 11th and last A350 for Finnair in 2017 is still just bits and parts on their way to Toulouse prior to assembly later in the year.
Finnair has placed orders for a total of 19 A350-900 aircraft.
So far Airbus has delivered a total of 64 Airbus A350 aircraft, with Qatar Airways being the largest operator of the type with 13 aircraft in the air.
Singapore Airlines comes next with 10 aircraft delivered, and together with LATAM Finnair comes third with seven aircraft in operation.
