Feb 17, 2017 (newstodate): Air India continues to feed the Scandinavian uncertainty over which country will come on the carrier's route network in 2017.
Speaking at the Indian travel trade show SATTE 2017, Ashwani Lohani, Air India Chairman and Managing Director, again confirmed that the carrier will launch flights on six new routes in 2017, including from Delhi to "Stockholm or Copenhagen".
This might at least indicate that plans are not for setting up a triangular route connecting both Scandinavian capital airports with Delhi.
On more firm grounds are Air India's other new international routes in 2017, which call for flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv and Washington and flights from Mumbai to Frankfurt, as well as flights from Mumbai to "Nairobi or Johannesburg".
