Feb10, 2017 (newstodate): The Boeing 767-300 passenger aircraft is facing a sustained bright future as a converted freighter.
Boeing has now concluded an agreement with Taiwan-based Evergreen Aviation Technologies for a cargo conversion program for the Boeing 767-300, and the first aircraft will be delivered to the Taiwanese factory in 2017, with the first conversion to be completed in 2018.
And the conversions are eagerly awaited: So far, Boeing has booked orders for 27 Boeing 767-300BCF aircraft converted in Taiwan.
The 767-300BCF carries 50 tonnes of cargo over 5,930 km, offering 24 pallet main-deck positions.
Boeing launched the 767-300 P2F conversion program in 2005 with three firm orders and four options from ANA.
