Dec 12, 2017 (newstodate): The new Italian carrier Ernest Airlines currently setting up a route network connecting Italy and destinations in Ukraine is eyeing cargo business as well.
Starting next year, the carrier will thus start to accept cargo on its flights performed with one Airbus A320 and one A319 aircraft.
Cargo will be carried in the belly compartment, and Ernest Airlines has no plans to add freighters to its fleet, but the fleet will be expanded with another four Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
The first flight by Ernest Airlines between Italy and Ukraine was performed on October 20, 2017 on the route between Milan Bergamo and Lviv currently served with two weekly flights, and adding a third weekly rotation from December.
New flights have been added from December 8, 2017, connecting Naples and Milan Bergamo with Lviv and Kiev with three weekly rotations, and flights will be added between Venice and Lviv with two weekly rotations.
