Dec 21, 2017 (newstodate): The world's largest Boeing 757 operator, Icelandair has added another stretched Boeing 757 aircraft to its fleet.
The Boeing 757-300 aircraft carries 200 passengers, 40 more than the Boeing 757-200 aircraft it will replace in Icelandair's fleet.
Icelandair now operates a total of 32 aircraft including 26 Boeing 757-200, two Boeing 757-300 and four Boeing 767-300 ER aircraft.
The fleet will be replenished in 2018 with start of deliveries of nine Boeing 737 MAX 8 and seven Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.
Icelandair also operates two Boeing 757-200 freighters.
