Nov 24, 2017 (newstodate): One Ukrainian carrier, Dniproavia has finally had its wings clipped by the country's aviation authority.
On October 4, 2017, the AOC of the carrier was revoked and its aircraft have mostly been transferred to another Ukrainian airline, WindRose.
Already in 2013, Dniproavia filed for bankruptcy in line with the other members of Igor Kolomoyskyi's Ukrainian Aviation Group also comprising Aerosvit and Donbassaero, but until now it was still operating some domestic flights for Ukraine International Airlines with the two remaining Embraer ERJ 145 aircraft.
At its peak, Dniproavia operated a fleet comprising 24 aircraft.
