Nov 10, 2017 (newstodate): Two Nordic airlines have obtained IOSA certification: Primera Air Nordic and Atlantic Airways.
The IOSA programme is an evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline.
IOSA, estabslished in 2003 by IATA, uses internationally recognized quality audit principles and is designed to conduct audits in a standardized and consistent manner.
All IATA members are IOSA registered and must remain registered to maintain IATA membership.
In the fleet of Primera Air Nordic, based in Latvia, are now two Boeing 737-700 and five Boeing 737-800, while Atlantic Airways operates a fleet comprising two Airbus A319 and one Airbus A320 aircraft, as well as two AgustaWestland AW139 helicopters.
