Nov 06, 2017 (newstodate): As Turkey is waning as a preferred leisure destination in Scandinavia, the Balkans are increasingly growing in attraction.
To cater to the demand for flight services to the Balkan region, another carrier is now adding traffic at Copenhagen Airport - Montenegro Airlines.
Starting from June 15 and till August 17, 2018, Montenegro Airlines will be offering one weekly rotation on the route between Tivat and Copenhagen, with Embraer 195 aircraft.
The carrier first launched services to Copenhagen from Podgorica, in Montenegro, from May 1, 2010, with up to three weekly rotations using Fokker 100 aircraft.
Montenegro Airlines also operated the route from Tivat in 2012 but pulled out again after the summer season while performing one charter flight in summer 2015.
