Nov 20, 2017 (newstodate): The Armenian carrier Taron-Avia has launched flights on a new route between Yerevan and Moscow.
The opening flight was performed on November 17, 2017, between Yerevan Zvartnots Airport and Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
The carrier is already operating flights between Gyumri in Armenia and Krasnodar, Samara and Moscow Domodedovo Airport in Russia.
Based in Gyumri, the carrier was set up in 2007 and operates a fleet comprising two Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
Taron-Avia first focused on the air cargo market but added scheduled passenger flights from 2015.
