Nov 01, 2017 (newstodate): The arrest of one Airbus A320 aircraft at Iceland's Keflavik Airport has now been lifted after a period of 12 dqays.
The Air Berlin aircraft was taken into custody by Isavia due to the carrier's failure to pay its bills at the airport as just one element on its road to final demise in October.
The carrier has now paid up and a cockpit crew has arrived at Keflavik to ferry the aircraft back after removal of the physical blockade in the form of snow-mobiles placed fore and aft of the fuselage.
