Oct 11, 2017 (newstodate): During January-August 2017, Russian airlines saw their combined cargo volumes up by 20.7 percent, y-o-y, to 716,051 tonnes.
Measured in volumes, the five largest contributors were AirBridgeCargo with 366,849 tonnes, up 14.4 percent, y-o-y, Aeroflot with 141,802 tonnes and up 38.7 percent, Volga-Dnepr Airlines with 23,635 tonnes and up 30.6 percent, Sibir with 22,332 tonnes and up 1.1 percent, and Rossiya with 20,737 tonnes, up no less than 107.6 percent.
Together, these five airlines thus accounted for 79.8 percent of all cargo on Russian airlines during the eight-months period.
