Oct 11, 2017 (newstodate): Chapman Freeborn has opened a search for a new Sales Manager Air Cargo Charter & Passenger Aircraft Charter in Norway.
Since November 2015, Chapman Freeborn has been in a strategic partnership with the Norwegian aircraft brokering company Airbroker AS to enhance their joint offerings in the international air charter market, with Chapman Freeborn the exclusive partner for all of Airbroker's charter requirements outside of its home market of Norway.
-We are seeing very positive synergies from this cooperation and are now benefiting also from a significant rise in demands for our services in the Norwegian market, driving the need for strengthening our efforts in the country, says Kim Borgaard, Chapman Freeborn Regional Sales Manager Nordic.
-There has been a softening in the global market for services relating to the oil & gas industries but the trend is now definitely turning, leading to demands for ad-hoc and project charters both in the pax, VIP and cargo fields.
-Norway's seafood exports is driving an intense growth in freighter capacity in Norway, but it has become increasing difficult to find capacity for uplift of smaller, time-sensitive and high-yield shipments, and this market is of key interest to us as a broker as the non-perishables markets are rising again, says Mr Borgaard.
