Oct 30, 2017 (newstodate): A new air broker company has been established in Denmark: Wingman Aircharter.
Managed and owned by Thomas Dessau, Wingman Aircharter launched operations only on October 1, 2017, but has already successfully handled three customer requests for executive jet flights.
Mr Dessau brings in his experience from 10 years as Sales Manager at the Danish air broker and operator, Flexflight.
-So far, the main asset of Wingman Aircharter is my extensive network and rich experience in the global market place for brokering of aircraft, says Mr Dessau.
-I am fully aware that Wingman Aircharter will be up against several strong competitors already established in the market, but work is already progressing on new projects involving services not readily available today. And from the outset, Wingman Aircharter is focused on providing new value-added services to customers, rather than just competing on price.
-One of the crucial issues is sourcing the aircraft capacity best suited for the individual request. In most cases, contracts will involve flights between points outside Scandinavia, and intimate knowledge of the position of suitable aircraft to meet the requirements with the least volume of transfer, or empty legs, will make the difference and provide the optimal price/quality ratio.
-As for the pool of smaller aircraft, Wingman Aircharter has access to some 3,500 aircraft on a global scale. With assignments requiring larger aircraft, such as sports and cultural events and teams, the availability of aircraft is more restricted, and here price will often spell the difference, says Mr Dessau.
