Oct 05, 2017 (newstodate): Finnair has now said good-bye to its last company-owned Airbus A340-300 aircraft.
The carrier has been operating seven Airbus A340 aircraft from 2006, but the last flight with this aircraft type was performed on February 1, 2017, and this fleet is now fully replaced by Airbus A350 aircraft.
The last of four Finnair-owned aircraft returned to Airbus at Toulouse on October 4, 2017, under a buy-back deal with Airbus, part of its contract with Airbus for acquisition of the A350 fleet.
