Oct 25, 2017 (newstodate): Denmark's Copenhagen Airport is scheduled to welcome a new Russian airline introducing scheduled services in 2018.
If plans are realized, Russia's S7 Sibir Airlines will start flights on a new route between St Petersburg and Copenhagen Airport in summer 2018.
The route to Copenhagen is one of a spree of new route openings by S7 that plans to launch services from St Petersburg to Innsbruck, Lyon, Turin, Verona and Salzburg in winter 2017/2018, and also to Alicante, Pisa and Pula in summer 2018
A member of the oneworld airline alliance since 2010, S7 Sibir Airlines operates a fleet totaling 74 western-built Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
