Jan 30, 2017 (newstodate): Sweden's Norrkoping Airport is to get more traffic to Munich in 2017.
Starting from April 15, 2016, BMI Regional has been offering flights in a code-share with Lufthansa on a new route connecting Munich and Norrkoping, offering six weekly rotations using Embraer 145 aircraft on the route.
Already now, this has proved to be insufficient to cater to the needs for traffic into Munich, so BMI Regional is now adding a second daily flight on the route that offers onward flight connections on Lufthansa's global route network.
This is so far the only scheduled service at the airport while the summer schedules also see domestic flights between Norrkoping and Visby.
