Jan 09, 2016 (newstodate): The Slovak charter and ACMI carrier Air Explore has now phased out it last remaining Boeing 737 Classic aircraft that provided the backbone from the start.
Based at Bratislava, Air Explore received its AOC on May 31, 2010, launched flights with its first aircraft Boeing 737-300 in June 2010, added a second aircraft, a Boeing 737-400, in June 2011 and grew the fleet to four Boeing 737 Classics in 2014.
The carrier then added its first Boeing 737-800 aircraft in October 2014 and is now operating four aircraft of this type on ACMI and charter contract with a range of airlines including Tunisair, Central Charter Airlines, Tonl� Sap Airlines, Norwegian and others.
Headed by Martin Stulajter as CEO and co-owner, the was set up by a group of former Seagle Air and Air Slovakia employees.
