Jan 11, 2017 (newstodate): Russia's Federal Aviation Agency has designated a new cargo carrier to provide freighter services between Russia and Germany.
Atran Airlines, a subsidiary of Russia's Volga-Dnepr Group, will provide seven weekly rotations with Boeing 737-400SF freighter aircraft on the route between Moscow and Frankfurt, feeding cargo into the global network of AirBridgeCargo.
Since January 9, 2014, Atran Airlines has also been operating freighter flights between Sweden's Malmo Airport and Moscow, feeding cargo into and from ABC's network.
